Easy Shielding for Spiritual Work
Security is important no matter what you do in life, unless you’re an adrenaline junkie. Even then we all want to be safe. Setting shields and defenses is a good practice to get into when performing any type of spiritual work, starting with grounding. Before I do any kind of spiritual work, including grounding, I like to set an intention. I will say, three times, “Only for the greater good. Only for the greater good. Only for the greater good.” The easiest way to ground is to stand on the ground in your bare feet. Of course, if you live in a cold climate this may not be practical. I know that I don’t want to go outside in my bare feet during a New England winter, especially when there’s a couple feet of snow on the ground. It’s not going to happen. You also may not be in a good place to take your shoes and socks off. In fact, I bet most of us know at least one person who you would prefer leave their shoes and socks on.
